Inter-Schuh-Service ISS 2023

10-11. June 2023., Wiesbaden

Our company was attended as an exhibitor at the international trade exhibition for shoemakers, Inter-Schuh-Service ISS 2023, held in connection with the German Shoemakers’ Days 2023, took place on 10th and 11th June 2023 at the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) in Wiesbaden, Germany. The event was organised by the Central Association of the German Shoemakers’ Trade (ZDS) and Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH.

We were pleased to present our product range and services to the German shoe manufacturing and repair community. It was great to meet our existing and future customers.

Moldovan - Hungarian Business Forum in Chisinau

The owner of LA-IMPEX Kft. János Lamoga – who is also the chairman of Hungarian Fur and Leather Trade Association – travelled to Chisinau – as a member of the business delegation lead by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán – to participate at the Moldovan – Hungarian business forum.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and the Moldovan Prime Minister Ion Chicu talked on close economic cooperation. The whole of the European Union has a vested interest in forming strategic partnerships with countries lying at its Eastern borders, including Moldova – Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated in Chisinau. He added, they wish to extend the already ongoing cooperation to agriculture, furthermore he indicated that a credit line worth USD 100 million had been opened in the interest of promoting mutual economic activities. At the forum János Lamoga personally informed the Prime Minister Viktor Orbán about the present situation of the Hungarian fur and leather industry and the difficulties concerning the sector.

LA-IMPEX KFT. has received Bisnode’s AA (double A) certificate in September, 2019., which belongs to only 1.75% of the companies in Hungary, and it indicates that the financial risk of establishing business relations with our company is very low.

ASTANA

Kazakh - Hungarian Business Forum in Astana

April 1, 2015

The chairman of Hungarian Fur Trade Association János Lamoga travelled to Astana – as a member of the business delegation lead by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán – to participate at the Kazakh – Hungarian business forum.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said at the Kazakh – Hungarian business forum on Wednesday in Astana that political cooperation between Hungary and Kazakhstan is excellent, and this serves as a solid basis for building economic relations between the two countries. The Minister emphasised: Kazakhstan is Hungary’s important trading partner but there are still plenty of opportunities for strengthening economic relations.

At the forum cooperation agreement was signed in the presence of Viktor Orbán Prime Minister and his Kazakh counterpart Karim Massimov which should be significant for domestic fur market. The purpose of the signed agreement between Hungarian Fur Trade Association (presented by János Lamoga chairman, as well as, as the managing director of LA-IMPEX Ltd.) and Kazakhstan Fur Trade and Industrial Association Ltd (presented by Sergey Vedyashev president) is to conducive the cooperation between Hungarian and Kazakh enterprises.

Seoul

South Korean - Hungarian Business Forum

28 November 2014.

As a member of a delegation of five ministers and more than 100 businessmen accompanying the Prime Minister, our Managing Director János Lamoga travelled to Seoul.

In front of nearly 200 South Korean and Hungarian businessmen, the Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also offered several Hungarian economic sectors to the South Koreans. He also drew special attention to Hungarian agriculture and encouraged South Korean companies to invest in Hungary and to take advantage of the Hungarian economic strategy.

Saudi Arabia

II. Hungarian - Arab Business Forum

Between 23 – 25 March 2014, the Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency (HITA) organised a business forum in Riyadh in connection with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s official visit to Saudi Arabia.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by a political and business delegation of more than a hundred people, including János Lamoga, the managing director of our company, who is also the president of the Hungarian Fur Trade Association. Under the patronage of Saudi Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, the business forum was attended by nearly 700 businessmen from the Arabian Gulf region. The Forum provided an excellent opportunity to introduce the Hungarian products, services and investment opportunities.

Regional Hungarian Entrepreneur Award 2013

We are pleased to inform that Mr. Janos Lamoga (the owner of LA-IMPEX Co. and the chairman of Hungarian Fur Trade Association) took over the Regional Hungarian Entrepreneur Award 2013. The Year Hungarian Entrepreneur Awards award by the VOSZ (National Association of Entrepreneurs) celebrates Entrepreneurs and recognises their far reaching achievements. This was the fifteenth year for the Entrepreneur Awards, the regional gala took place in the BEST WESTERN Hotel in Budapest.

Tokyo

Japan-Hungary Business Forum

The Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency (HITA) organised a business forum and a business meeting in Tokyo in connection with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s official visit to Japan. The Hungarian political delegation included Mihály Varga, Minister of National Economy and Péter Szijjártó, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Prime Minister’s Office.

The owner of LA-IMPEX Kft. János Lamoga was also part of the 61-member business delegation accompanying the Prime Minister. At the Japan-Hungary Business Forum the businessmen discussed long-term trade and economic relations. Péter Bilek, Deputy Chairman of HITA for Government Relations, gave a presentation on Hungary’s investment and export opportunities and the government’s policy of ‘Opening to the East’.

The trip to Japan was a great success, as János Lamoga informed Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and the government members about the current issues concerning the Hungarian fur industry.
